At St Breward Primary School, we have a highly dedicated SEND team with up to date training within a range of specialisms.
Mrs E Rowe, SENDCo, is available Mondays and Tuesdays to support your child within school, liaise with outside professionals, provide support and advice for yourselves and run interventions across the school.

We have recently become a T.I.S (Trauma Informed School). A Trauma informed School is one that is able to support children and teenagers who suffer with trauma or mental health problems and whose troubled behaviour acts as a barrier to learning.
This means we are able to offer emotional and well being support to all pupils under a opt out format. All our staff are trained to provide emotional support to pupils as and when they need it. This may be through talking or through play/games. To find out more please visit our TIS page or contact either a member of staff.

I have been SENDCO at St Breward Primary for the past 2 years, prior to that I taught in Seahorses - years 3/4 then went on to lead the EYFS/ Turtles class for 3 years.
I have worked within Education for 12 years starting out as a SEND TA in a secondary school before deciding to train to be a teacher. I have always been interested in supporting people with SEND and have gained a comprehensive knowledge of needs over the years alongside valuable experience. I have been lucky enough to have experience working and supporting pupils within education up to KS4 (year 11). I am able to draw on my experiences, to not only support the pupils within their primary education but also with their transition into secondary education.
My aim within the MAT is to create a inclusive ethos supporting SEND where all settings work together in the best possible way.
