Welcome to Seahorses Class.
Our class is a mixed aged class with children in Year 1, 2 and 3. We cover all areas of the National curriculum as well as incorporating active learning sessions both inside and outside of the classroom.
We encourage the children to ask questions about the topics we cover and develop a sense of curiosity about their learning.
Our Class Teachers are Miss Simpson and Mrs Rowe. We are lucky enough to have 2 fantastic Teaching Assistants; Mrs Richards and Mrs Prout.
What we get up to !
The children in our class enjoy weekly outdoor learning sessions. We explore our outdoor learning area through a range of cross curricular activities. The children particularly like lighting fires, building dens and playing in the mud kitchen.
Every Tuesday morning is our PE session which ranges from Dance to Rugby.
Each morning the whole class join in with Active Start sessions. The children join in with a range of activities for 15-20 minutes. They particularly enjoy throwing and catching games, chasing games and dance based activities.
Each term the children go to our local woods for an outdoor leaning day which we all love!!!
They enjoy the freedom to explore and we especially enjoy making dens and playing games.
