Whole school activities

This half term the school had a visit from the RNLI. They talked to the children about beach safety and what it was like to be a Lifeguard. Some children then got to take part in a dramatic beach rescue!

Visit to St. Breward Church on 3rd October 2019
As part of our R.E. and P.S.H.E. teaching, the children collected together a variety of tinned and dried goods to take up to the local church to contribute to the village's Harvest celebrations. The children learned about the harvest and its importance now, as well as in the past, and were able to reflect on this in the peaceful atmosphere of this ancient building.
They also had the opportunity to make traditional harvest loaves which were then used to decorate the church.
