Homework

Homework is set weekly and consists of:
  • a list of spellings, which are linked to phonics lessons, topic lessons or the National Curriculum word lists.
  • Maths homework; this is usually a task linked to the previous weeks maths lessons to allow the children to consolidate their learning.
  • Reading to an adult, at least 4 times a week when possible.
