Our Team

Here at St Breward Primary School, we pride ourselves on our inclusive school environment. It is the school’s aim to ensure that children with SEND are included in all aspects of school life and experience a fully inclusive curriculum.

Our mission is to enable all children with SEND to achieve their best possible outcomes.  From early identification, children with SEND will receive high quality first teaching, support strategies, careful monitoring and interventions tailored to their individual needs which will enable them to achieve their full potential.

We have recently become a T.I.S (Trauma Informed School). A  Trauma informed School is one that is able to support children and teenagers who suffer with trauma or mental health problems and whose troubled behaviour acts as a barrier to learning.

This means we are able to offer emotional and well being support to all pupils under a opt out format. All our staff are trained to provide emotional support to pupils as and when they need it. This may be through talking or through play/games.  To find out more please visit our TIS page or contact either a member of staff.

If you would like to meet to discuss any concerns you may have or enquire about your child’s provision/progress, please do not hesitate to telephone the office to make an appointment.  Alternatively, you can email Mrs Burke on:

Please note this account is checked first thing every morning and should only be used as a means to contact Mrs Burke about non-urgent matters.

If your concern is urgent, please ring the office and your message will be passed on to Mrs Burke or the relevant member of staff.
