Seahorses Spring Learning 2026

The class enjoyed a visit to the Screech Owl Sanctuary, to learn more about habitats and adaptations.

The children watched flying displays, learnt about different owls and met the polecat, meerkats and foxes.
The children learnt lots of new facts and asked great questions.

Testing materials

Our science focus this half term is everyday materials and their properties. The children have been exploring different materials to identify their properties and suitability to specific purposes.

The children have carried out fair tests to find out which materials were waterproof and which materials were opaque or transparent.
